The world, through the eyes of international students, is coming to UW-Stout on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Students on campus from up to 20 countries will present exhibits about their native lands, followed by a cultural show, during International Night in the Great Hall of the Memorial Student Center. The events are part of International Education Week.

The exhibit is from 5 to 6 p.m. and the show from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Both are free and open to the public. Parking in UW-Stout lots is free after 4 p.m.

The show will feature skits and song and dance by students, along with a fashion show of traditional attire, said Scott Pierson, director of the Office of International Education.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for the academic community in Menomonie to meet and converse with current international students and for students to introduce their respective cultures through traditional song, dance and attire,” Pierson said.

A total of 170 students from 29 countries are enrolled at UW-Stout. The events are co-presented by the International Relations Club.
