ASPIRE/Fostering Success Advisor for Student Support Services at the University of Wisconsin-Stout since fall 2015.
Prior to my position with TRIO in Student Support Services at UW-Stout, my experience in higher education included: academic advisor, admissions counselor, financial aid processor, and instructor for college level courses including College Success Strategies, Introduction to Psychology, Human Relations, Adult Basic Education (GED preparation), and Professional Development. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from UW-Eau Claire and my Master's degree from UW-La Crosse in College Student Personnel.
In my TRIO position, I have the privilege to advocate and support first-generation, income eligible youth served by Student Support Services and youth formerly in foster care earn their degrees at Stout. I am fortunate to work for these talented, resilient, innovative, creative youth.
I am committed to the work of advancing equity, diversity and social justice on campus and my own life-long journey toward intercultural growth and humility.
