Director of Learning Technology Services, Training and Communication

Learning Technology Services (LTS) is the first level of contact for instructional technology support. LTS serves as an instructional technology center focusing on teaching and learning for instructors of the UW-Stout teaching community. Offering a range of services, LCTS partners with faculty to provide expertise, training and support to assist instructors with incorporating instructional technology into their teaching practice and creating technology-enhanced instructional materials.

Communication and training are key components in the successful delivery of technology services. The LIT department works to ensure that IT service and project communications between our department and the campus community are accurate, consistent, timely and responsive to the needs of intended audiences. In addition, the department coordinates training for staff and faculty on a variety of supported hardware, software and services and helps develop technology documentation that meets the unique needs and expectations of all learners.
